Pulse load situations for film resistors are not allowed to exceed the following limits: • Single pulses have to be limited in peak power for a given pulse duration • The average power load P of the continuous pulse load shall not exceed the rated power dissipation P70 • The maximum amplitude of pulse voltage, and single and continuous pulses, has to be limited for high ohmic values
