The 74HC86; 74HCT86 is a quad 2-input EXCLUSIVE-OR gate. Inputs include clamp diodes. This enables the use of current limiting resistors to interface inputs to voltages in excess of VCC.
The 74HC86D is a high-speed Si-gate CMOS Device that comply with JEDEC standard number 7A. They are pin compatible with low-power Schottky TTL (LSTTL). The 74HC86 provides a 2-input exclusive-OR function.
