Description
Industry networks have 600Veffs and more worldwide. Varistors with 625Vrms are therefore used to protect against transient input surges. Such varistors have a clamping voltage of typically 1650V, whereby industry-standard three-phase bridges with 1600V am or even above the limit are operated. This challenge can be mastered with the new generation of three-phase bridges: the DBI25-18A offers an additional safety margin with 1800Vrrm.
