Panaflo

PanafloPanaflo was a division of Panasonic. Panasonic Industrial is no longer directly involved with axial fans and stepping motors. Rather, Panasonic and Minebea (NMB) have formed a joint venture called Minebea Motor Company (MMMC) to handle both fans and stepping motors. MMMC has elected to concentrate sales and marketing effort related to these products through NMB.

Panaflo was a division of Panasonic. Despite the new name (NMB-MAT), these are still the same widely respected and loved Panaflo axial fan designs that are suited a wide range of applications. They force air out in a “funnel” type pattern, and are ideal when cooling a specific area such as a power supply that is surrounded by numerous components with minimum ventilation available.
Features

Locked rotor protection circuits
Automatically restarts in a few seconds
Reverse voltage protection
Uses a mass termination style for connecting LED wires, allowing for easy interchangeability from 3-pin to 3+4 or 4-pin connections
Panaflo’s unique Hydrowave bearing (HWB) technology addresses the traditional weakness of sleeve bearings – axial friction. By utilizing this system, the thrust plate “floats” on a circulating film of oil, which greatly reduces axial friction and the bearing’s deterioration.
