Measurement Specialties, Inc is now part of TE Connectivity. Measurement Specialties, Inc. is engaged in the design, development and manufacture of sensors and sensor-based systems for original equipment manufacturers (OEM) and end users, based on a range of technology and characterized by the MEAS brand name. The Company has manufacturing facilities located in the United States, the People’s Republic of China, France, Ireland, Germany and Switzerland, enabling the Company to produce and market a range of sensors, which measure ranges of physical characteristics. These sensors are used for engine and vehicle, medical, general industrial, consumer and home appliance, military/aerospace, water monitoring, and test and measurement applications. On September 30, 2011, the Company acquired Celesco Transducer Products Inc. In September 2013, Measurement Specialties Inc announced the completion of the acquisition of the capital stock of Sensotherm Temperatursensorik GmbH, a German limited company, and Secon Kft. (together, Sensotherm).
